What it is

Cellulite is a multifactorial alteration of the subcutaneous tissue, resulting from changes in adipose tissue, microcirculation and collagen fibre organisation. These changes can manifest at different degrees of severity (Grade I to III), with variable impact on skin texture and relief.

Cellulite

What it's for

Treatment aims to improve skin texture, firmness and uniformity, reduce fibrosis, improve local circulation and attenuate the characteristic undulating appearance. The approach is individualised according to the grade, extent and tissue characteristics.

How it's done

It may involve shock waves (for improving circulation and reducing fibrosis), Ultraformer MPT (for associated laxity and collagen stimulation), enzymatic lipolysis (in selected cases), biostimulators (for improving skin quality) and subcision (in more advanced grades, for mechanical release of retracted fibrous septa).
