What it is

Lip filler is a medical procedure performed with hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally present in the body. It is used to hydrate, define, correct asymmetries and, when indicated, add volume to the lips, always focusing on naturalness and facial harmony. At Vivage Clinique, the goal is not to transform, but to enhance the lips in a balanced way, respecting the anatomy, facial proportions and individual characteristics of each patient.

Lip Filler

What it's for

Indicated to improve lip hydration and texture, define the lip contour, correct asymmetries, restore volume lost over time and enhance the cupid's bow and the balance between upper and lower lip. The indication and desired result are always defined after individualised medical assessment.

How it's done

Following medical assessment and facial analysis, hyaluronic acid is applied to the lips through microinjections, using techniques appropriate to the labial anatomy and treatment objective. The procedure is performed in a clinical setting, with technical care and attention to patient comfort. Local anaesthetic may be used when indicated for greater comfort.

Recovery

Mild swelling or small bruises on the lips are common in the first few days. It is recommended to avoid massaging or pressing the lips, avoid intense physical exercise in the first 24 hours, avoid exposure to excessive heat immediately and maintain adequate lip hydration. Specific instructions are always provided by the doctor after the procedure.

Safety & contraindications

Safe procedure when performed by qualified doctors. At Vivage Clinique, approved products and techniques that prioritise safety, naturalness and predictability of results are used. It may not be indicated in cases of pregnancy, breastfeeding, active infections in the labial region, some autoimmune or inflammatory diseases, or known hypersensitivity to the product. The indication is always confirmed in a medical consultation.
