What it is

Hair transplant is a medical procedure indicated for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia and other forms of permanent hair loss, based on the principle of donor follicle dominance — the genetically resistant follicles retain their characteristics after transfer. The most widely used technique is FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction), which involves the individual extraction of follicular units with microinstruments.

Hair Transplant

What it's for

Indicated for patients with stabilised androgenetic alopecia or other forms of permanent hair loss, who present a donor area with sufficient density. It allows permanent hair restoration with natural results.

How it's done

The procedure involves the extraction of follicular units from the donor area (occipital and parietal region) and their implantation in the recipient areas with thinning or absent hair. The follicular units are implanted with strict respect for the natural direction, angulation, distribution and hair density. It may be integrated into complementary medical protocols (PRP, mesotherapy) to optimise results.
